Life-Filled Retreats
Koi ponds are a specialty of Masuko Landscaping. A centuries-old art form from Japan, koi ponds are lovely pools of water that hold beautiful, multi-colored koi fish, which come in a variety of patterns and colors, from brilliant to subtle. (We can arrange to have championship grade koi shipped to you from Japan.) The ponds can be designed as formal pieces or meditative settings. Koi must have clean, clear water to thrive. That normally means a type of filtration system that requires a large amount of territory and a great deal of maintenance. Masuko Landscaping, instead, uses a simpler filtration system that requires a much smaller area and far less maintenance. In fact, a simple turn of a value results in backflushing which is all the maintenance you need to do. Aeration jets ensure proper, constant circulation that will allow the koi to flourish.
